We've highlighted our key exclusions and conditions below:

Your gadget(s) must be less than the maximum gadget age limit at the time you buy your gadget insurance policy. For Regular Gadget and Business Gadget insurance the maximum gadget age limit is 18 months, for Family Gadget Insurance it is 36 months. Check your receipt to know for sure when your item was originally purchased.

All items you insure must have been bought as new from a UK VAT registered company, such as a high street store, or official online retailer. If you’ve had a warranty replacement in the past from your manufacturer, check that it is a ‘new’ replacement and not a refurbished one.

In the first 14 days from the start of your policy you will not be able to file a claim. This is part of our fraud-deterring exclusion period.

While outside of your home, do not leave your gadget unattended and follow reasonable measures to keep it safe. Certain instances may result in lack of approval for a claim. Always read your terms and conditions for details.

Should you make a claim and you are paying by monthly Direct Debit, you will be required to pay the premium for the remainder of your 12 month contract before your claim can be approved.

Should you need to make a claim, please be aware of the following excess amounts:

  • iPhones, iPads and smartphones - £50 excess.
  • Laptops - £75 excess.
  • All other gadgets - £25 excess.
  • An extra £25 is charged for all loss claims.
  • The total excess on all international claims is £75.
  • All Accidental Damage claims made  in the first 3 months from the policy start date incur an additional £25 excess charge.
Please make sure you read our full terms and conditions of our policy so you're clear on what's covered. We want to make sure the policy is right for you. We always give you 14 days from when you buy the policy to cancel it, free of charge.
