A £25 excess applies to all iPod/MP3 claims. An additional £5 excess applies to loss claims. All Accidental Damage claims made  in the first 3 months from the policy start date incur an additional £25 excess charge.

Why insure your iPod? 

iPod are vulnerable to risks- since one in three of us take their  iPod or MP3 player every time we go out.

The prices of iPods range from double to triple figures, making them a target for thieves**.

Even if you keep your iPod safe on you at all times, it can still be vulnerable to being accidentally damaged – or breaking down!

If one of these things happens, replacing your iPod may not be affordable for you straight away –  iPod shuffle ranges from around £60 right up, a iPod touch or classic costs over £275**.

However, the good news is that this is where iPod insurance can help:

In the event that any of the things described above happen to your iPod – anywhere in the world - then we can typically offer replacement or repair within a 48 hour period of a successful claim if we cannot repair it. If we can repair it, we'll aim to do so within 5 working days. 

You can insure your iPod or MP3 against loss too. If you select the loss option, for an additional £1 per month, we will replace it should you lose it.

Protecting your iPod, MP3 or MP4 with gadget insurance can be affordable too- Cover starts at the low price of just £2.19 per month.

You can even protect your other gadgets as well, such as laptops, iphones, including iphone 4 , mobile phones, cameras etc, for an additional fee. You'll get a discount of 10% per additional item you insure under the same policy, up to a maximum of 15% discount.
