Your gadget(s) must be less than 12 months old at the time you buy your gadget insurance policy. Check any receipts to know for sure when your item was originally purchased.
All items you insure must have been bought as new from a UK VAT registered company, such as a high street store, or official online retailer. If you’ve had a warranty replacement in the past from your manufacturer, check that it is a ‘new’ replacement and not a refurbished one.
In the first 14 days from the start of your policy you will not be able to file a claim. This is part of our fraud-deterring exclusion period.
Should you make a claim, If your gadget has been stolen or lost (if you added loss to your policy) you must notify your network provider and the Police (in the case of loss or theft) within 48 hours of discovery.
While outside of your home, do not leave your gadget unattended and follow reasonable measures to keep it safe. Certain instances may result in lack of approval for a claim. Always read your terms and conditions for details.
Should you make a claim and you are paying by monthly Direct Debit, you will be required to pay the premium for the remainder of your 12 month contract before your claim can be approved.
