Supplementary Liability Insurance is also known as Top-Up Liability Insurance and is required where the locally provided third party limit is very low or not provided at all.

This cover may be required when you are renting outside the European Union for example the USA where the mandatory third party limit can be as low as $15,000.

If you are in any doubt as to the third party liability limit being provided by the car rental company please contact them directly as we will be unable to advise you on this directly.
