Details about our Camera Insurance

Theft

The bad news? Electronics are a prime target for thieves. The good news? We cover you against theft as standard.

Notes

We expect you to take reasonable precautions to keep your camera safe from theft.

Drops & accidental damage

We repair more than 1,700 gadgets per month on average. If you drop it – or the screen gets cracked – you're covered.

Notes

We don't cover cosmetic damage that doesn't affect the functionality of your device, like surface scratches and dents.

Liquid damage

Liquid can be deadly for a device. Whether it gets accidentally dunked in tea, doused in a drink or dropped in the bath, don't worry – you're covered.

Notes

We expect you to take reasonable precautions to keep your camera safe from damage.

Worldwide use

Keep your camera with you while you travel: our policy includes worldwide cover.

Notes

Replacements and repaired items can only be sent to UK addresses.

Mechanical breakdowns

Blank screen? Broken button? Charging issues? If your gadget breaks down, you're covered.

Notes

We cover mechanical breakdowns after the manufacturer's warranty has run out.

Loss (optional)

Prone to losing your things? Loss cover adds a layer of protection to our standard cover – and is only an extra £1.50 per month, per gadget.

More about Camera Insurance

Making the case for Camera Insurance

We all love capturing unique moments on camera.

Whether you have a compact point-and-shoot for special occasions, or you have a top-range digital SLR for a serious hobby or profession, it's probably a good idea to get camera insurance, just in case.

Buying a digital camera can be a significant purchase, with some DSLRs easily costing thousands of pounds.

Camera Insurance from Protect Your Bubble keeps your camera covered in case of accidental damage, mechanical breakdowns and theft – so you won't get stuck having to pay repair or replacement costs if something goes awry.

You'll be able to submit claims online, and live UK-based customer support is just a phone call or online chat away.

Plus, if you protect another gadget along with your camera, like your phone or tablet, you'll get 10% off your policy price. Protecting a third gadget will get you 15% off.
