Details about our TV Insurance

Theft cover

The bad news? Electronics are a prime target for thieves, and more than 250,000 mobile phone thefts1 are reported in the UK every year. The good news? We cover you against theft as standard.

Drops & accidental damage cover

We repair more than 1,700 gadgets per month on average. If you drop it – or the screen gets cracked – you're covered.

Notes

We don't cover cosmetic damage that doesn't affect the functionality of your device, like surface scratches and dents.

Liquid damage cover

Liquid can be deadly for a device. Whether it gets accidentally dunked in tea, doused in a drink or dropped in the bath, don't worry – you're covered.

Notes

We expect you to take reasonable precautions to keep your gadget safe from damage.

Worldwide cover

Keep your devise with you while you travel: our policy includes worldwide cover.

Notes

Replacements and repaired items can only be sent to UK addresses.

Mechanical breakdown cover

Blank screen? Broken button? Charging issues? If your gadget breaks down, you're covered.

We cover mechanical breakdowns after the manufacturer's warranty has run out.

You're protecting your gadgets – now protect your identity. Get unlimited access to your Equifax credit report with Digital Secure. It's an optional extra that helps you prevent ID theft, detect it early and fix any issues should it happen. Add it for only £1.99 a month, no matter how many gadgets you insure.

Loss cover (optional)

Prone to losing your things? Loss cover adds a layer of protection to our standard cover - and is only an extra £1.50 per month, per gadget.

Loss cover is not available for laptops, MacBooks,TVs, desktop PCs or PC monitors.

More devices = more discounts! You'll get 10% off your policy price if you insure 2 or more gadgets.

How to claim

In just 5 steps

  1. Tell us about any claim as soon as possible and within 28 days of discovery of the loss, theft, breakdown or damage.
  2. If you need to claim for the loss or theft of your gadget, there are additional steps you will need to take. Click here to review them.
  3. Make your claim within 28 days of discovering the incident.
  4. A claims rep will walk you through the process and tell you what information and documents you will need to provide, like your proof of ownership or police reference number.
  5. Pay your excess and sit tight while we either repair your gadget or send you a replacement. Your excess will need to be paid before we can settle your claim.
