*maximum benefit policy lets you claim up to the specified limit (£2,000 for Accident Only cover, £4,000 for Standard and £7,500 for Premier) for vet fees for treatments arising from the same incident over the whole term of the policy. For example, if your pet suffered a leg injury from a road accident, you could claim for several treatments related to that incident until the total amount you were reimbursed reached the specified limit of your cover level. You could not claim again for treatment arising from the same incident, but could claim for further separate incidents – again, the specified limit would apply.

**This time-limited policy enables an owner to claim up to the specified limit of £1,000 for vet fees for treatments arising from the same incident for up to 12 months after it initially occurred. For example, if your pet suffered an illness, you could claim for several treatments related to that incident for up to 12 months from when it originally occurred – up to the specified limit of £1,000. After 12 months, or after the specified limit is reached, you could not claim again for treatment arising from the same illness, but could claim for further separate incidents – again, the specified limits of £1,000 and 12 months would apply.

***The variable excess amount is required along with the fixed excess amount upon claim.
