For example, if your pet suffered an illness, you could claim for several treatments related to that incident for up to 12 months from when it originally occurred – up to the specified limit of £1,000. After 12 months, or after the specified limit is reached, you could not claim again for treatment arising from the same illness, but could claim for further separate incidents – again, the specified limits of £1,000 and 12 months would apply.
