In July 2012 Apple are due to release their new desktop operating system - OS X Mountain Lion. You can find it in the Mac App Store, under paid apps. Among the new features will be Facebook Inc's social network. Users can post photos and comments right from their apps. You can also mirror your Mac onto a TV set using Apple TV. There's also a new faster version of Safari.

If you fancy downloading something for free, then the Kindle app is a great place to start. This app gives readers the ability to read Kindle books on an easy-to-use interface. Looking for something more technical? The Unarchiver from the Mac App Store is a small and easy program that can unarchive many types of archive files. This includes Zip, RAR and Gzip. The new version also comes with fixed opening folders in the Finder after extraction. Very handy! 

If you're a MacBook gamer then try AirAttack. It's currently very popular among Mac users. This stunning air combat shooter game will keep you entertained for hours. The App Store has lots of games (both paid and free) to choose from, simply click on Games from the navigation.
